Bill Gates is "not some media expert"

January 08, 2005

Hey, that's what he said in a rare interview to blogging site Gizmodo. He also said blogging is "super-important" and predicted Microsoft would "do a lot more [blogging] software".  I guess that means the next Word will have desktop blogging to MSN spaces support?  (I'm sticking with Typepad/Bloglines).

Ofcourse, like Jonathan Schwartz, Donald Trump, Richard Branson and other celebrity executives, Gates can't seem to give a straight answer without plugging a company product or strategy.  That's OK though.  Why else would a CEO talk to a reporter?
